Our screech owl house has an 8''x8'' floor. Being made of thick pine aids in insulating the interior. Nailed and glued for long lasting strength. It features a rough interior, side cleanout door, drainage holes and ventilation.

This house may also be attractive for saw-whet owls, or even kestrels depending on where you place it.

Screech owls do not really make much of a nest, so we will include a bag of wood shavings for you to add an inch or two to the nest box, they will in turn make a little hollow in those shavings and appreciate the more natural feel.
