Old Red Barn Cedar Birdhouse

The Cedar traditional red barn bird house is designed for bluebirds.  However, many types of different birds have been known to make this their home.  Who could blame them with the type of luxury this birdhouse brings.  It is designed to be mounted on top of a fence post.

This traditional red barn bird house, with an arched roof includes simulated wood boards, loft door (bird entrance), hitching rails, windows front and sides and barn doors.

The Cedar Red Barn bird house comes with three drains and three natural air conditioners (vents), one directly across from the bird entrance hole and one on each side under the roof 1/2" wide by 5" long.  It is insulated with 7/8" cedar.

To prevent the potential of water seeping under the nesting area this birdhouse has a raised nesting floor.

Cleaning this dairy barn birdhouse is a cinch.  Just three screws on the bottom, you can take the bottom off for a complete spring cleaning.

The birdhouse is constructed to meet the suggested requirements of the Audubon Society and U.S. Fish and Wildlife.
